After retiring from MCOE I was asked to consult with one of the Youth Founders from Napa Voices to start a similar center in Monterey. After a couple of months of consulting, they asked if I would be interested in a full-time position with On The Move (non-profit) and lead the coordination of becoming our own 501c3. I respected the philosophy of the organization of it being youth-centered, authentic youth engagement and promoting youth voice. I have been with the Epicenter for 6 years and had the privilege of serving as Executive Director for 4 years.
