Youth Council promote the visibility of the Epicenter through outreaching to other youth in the community, organize events and coordinate activities as well as supporting monthly events at the center. Youth Council strives to create an environment where local young people feel connected and supported as they transition into adulthood.
In keeping with the vision and values of the Epicenter, it is essential that youth input and feedback be weaved into every aspect of our programming. The Youth Council allows the opportunity to pair this feedback mechanism with a clear leadership development opportunity. Youth Council receives mentorship from the Epicenter Youth Advocates.
